I follow Fedora development, and I understand they plan to switch to DNF. How is that going to affect rpm-ostree and Atomic hosts that get their updates from rpm-ostree?

rpm-ostree today uses libhawkey to query the RPM database, which is a shared library that DNF also uses. In the future, rpm-ostree will also link to librepo for package downloads.

This won't affect Atomic hosts at all. RPM is the important unit here - whether Fedora or another project uses Yum or DNF won't matter.
