What are the minimum CPU/RAM you recommend for Atomic images?

When I fire these up in VirtualBox or Virtual Machine Manager, what's the recommended system requirements for CPU and RAM?

This really depends on how many containers you plan to deploy on the Atomic instance.

Official Fedora and RHEL installers have some minimum requirements (2 GB for Fedora 20 64 bits, 1 GB for RHEL6 64 bits), but these are minimums mainly focused on Anadonda installer and desktop environments. Quick look in Atomic project documentation do not show any minimum requirements yet, but I was able to spin a VM instance with 512 MB and one virtual CPU without any issue and it should be enough for some basic testing.

If you want to see sane default for testing, I'd go for 1 GB. That should be enough for most Docker images out there for now. And for production? This is alfa-stage right now, but stick with generic rule. As much as you can :-)
