Hello, I built a Fedora Atomic image using:

rpm-ostree compose tree ...

rpm-ostree-toolbox create-vm-disk ...

(configuration from https://github.com/jasonbrooks/byo-at... )

Then boot up the image as VM. I find that some program like /usr/bin/ping would throw this error: -bash: /usr/bin/ping: Invalid argument

The actual binary seems OK, since I can copy /usr/bin/ping and the copy would run fine.
Has anyone seen this error and found a fix?

One of the binary (/usr/bin/kube-apiserver) was working in previous build and now suddenly starts showing this same error. Not sure what happened.

Are you asking about ping in the Atomic host you built? You may want to look at the updated version of Jason's post http://www.projectatomic.io/docs/compose-your-own-tree

I hit an issue like this when testing centOS atomic a while back. Some more details in the bug report: https://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=8698
