We followed to steps mentioned in http://www.projectatomic.io/blog/2014...incontainers/ and were able to bring up a libvirtd daemon and libvirt-client running on 2 different containers. External communication,DNS, connectivity between the containers works fine. Yet, when we launch virt-install in the libvirt-client container, we hit the following issue:-
[root@localhost /]# virt-install --name fedoratest1 --ram 4096 --vcpus 2 --disk path=/home/Fedora-Cloud-Base-24-1.2.x8664.qcow2,format=qcow2,bus=virtio,size=15 --network bridge=virbr0 --import --check all=off WARNING KVM acceleration not available, using 'qemu' WARNING Disk /home/Fedora-Cloud-Base-24-1.2.x8664.qcow2 is already in use by other guests ['fedoratest']. WARNING Graphics requested but DISPLAY is not set. Not running virt-viewer. WARNING No console to launch for the guest, defaulting to --wait -1 Starting install... ERROR Cannot get interface MTU on 'virbr0': No such device ------------->>>>>>This seems to be the issue Domain installation does not appear to have been successful. If it was, you can restart your domain by running: virsh --connect qemu+tcp://172.17.0.8/system start fedora_test1 otherwise, please restart your installation.
Please help. We are trying to launch Fedora within the container using virt-install exactly as detailed here.
