I am new to Atomic Host. Trying to install it first time. I have installed centos-atomic-host-7 as RHEVM VM. Now first thing the guide ask is to run

atomic host upgrade

I am behind corporate proxy so I am trying

env http_proxy=http://user:password@proxy.example.com:port/ atomic host upgrade

But I am getting following error:

Updating from: centos-atomic-host:centos-atomic-host/7/x86_64/standard error: Could not connect: Network is unreachable

I have also tried setting and export httpproxy in ~/.bashprofile as well as /etc/environment but getting the same error everytime. I am trying to pass this for last 1 and half day but cant find any solution. Could anyone help me resolve it ?

Any help suggession would be highly appreciated.

You'll need to add your proxy information to /etc/ostree/remotes.d/centos-atomic-host.conf

[remote "centos-atomic-host"]

edit: You'll probably want to fix docker as well as per: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/23...

This post is a wiki. Anyone with karma >75 is welcome to improve it.

Have you checked if:

1.) Proxy configuration works for getting out? 2.) Have you come across this issue 208 and their suggestion to moving the proxy variable into the configuration?

Hope you find a solution!
