I am glad I found this before getting too deep into CoreOS... the security practices make more sense to me in the Atomic Project.

I know the centos images are not yet available but had some questions especially in regards to /var/lib/docker

Is it going to be possible to use Atomic on Digital Ocean mounting /var/lib/docker to consume the remaining disk space of the droplet so when you grow the droplet this space gets larger?

The way I envision using Atomic is for a handful of docker images that are monitoring the health of each droplet/atomic host for cpu, memory, load and other metrics using http://www.sysdig.org/ then responding for autoscaling or failover using the digitalocean API to automatically provision new hosts and then issuing commands to geard to automatically provision new containers of the affected services.

At the moment, Digital Ocean isn't offering an Atomic image, so this wouldn't be possible. Once we have CentOS and Fedora images available, I would love to work with them to ensure that we have images available.
